Sarah + Jon / September 5th, 2015 / Grand Lake, CO

ย

These two lovebirds met years ago in a bar, but they didn't meet in the typical way. You see, Sarah was in the neighborhood visiting a friend, and the two of them decided to head out to a bar. They found themselves at a place where Jon was the chef. They exchanged glances, maybe chatted for a bit, but nothing truly developed at that time. After that, they ended up seeing each other everywhere - around the neighborhood and at parties back in Chicago, Illinois. They had crushes on each other for quite a long time, and back in 2012, the two of them made everything official! They went on their first date, and as they say, the rest is history.

Thanks to Levi & Val, here's a glimpse into their gorgeous, mountain wedding in Grand Lake, Colorado.

Grand Lake, Colorado is absolutely stunning! It's the largest and deepest natural lake, and it is a fantastic place to spend your time, especially when you're celebrating a wedding as lovely as theirs.

The drive through the Rocky Mountain National Park over Trail Ridge Road is always one of our favorites. On this particular day, we saw moose, elk, and deer. The views are just spectacular!

These next few photos are wonderful - it's their first look!

Wedding time!

Party time!

Before the two of them joined the party, they snuck off together for some one-on-one time after exchanging their vows. The photos capturing their alone time together as husband and wife are just gorgeous!

Congratulations Sarah and Jon! Thank you so much for inviting us to celebrate with the two of you! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness together!

Lindsey + Dan : August 29th, 2015 : Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Wedding season is here and color palettes are coming to life! Blush is a such a gorgeous, classic color that we can always count on in our color palettes. One wedding that inspires us is Lindsey and Dan's beautiful ivory, blush, gray, and green wedding! Every detail was perfectly planned, thanks to Jolly Events. We couldn't resist posting about this wedding - the photos are incredible! Kerinsa truly captured their soft, romantic wedding flowers.

Check out these bouquets! They are full of lush dahlias, garden roses, and textured eucalyptus, silver brunia berries and calcynia. We just cannot get enough of these gorgeous photos.

How happy and sweet is their son?! Just the most handsome best man!

We just LOVE cafe au lait dahlias, especially when they are grown locally here in Fort Collins!

The Sheraton Hotel in Steamboat Springs was the perfect place for their friends and family to gather, not to mention a stunning backdrop for these mountain blooms!

There was an even mix of centerpieces. One half of them focused on romantic, soft, lush blooms. The other half was rich in texture and fun foliage. This mix created such a beautiful balance of colors in the room!

CAKE! CAKE! CAKE! CAKE! CAKE!

Congratulations, you two! Thank you for celebrating with us!

Like this...

Madison + Steven.

When we first heard from Madison + Steven, back in March 2015 (whoa!) - Lace and Lilies was just starting to figure out who we were and what kind of art we wanted to bring to the world. This couple and this wedding was a sign that we were on the right path and their willingness to let our creativity run wild was just what we needed!

We just love looking back on days like this. The colors, the textures, the gold rings and how gorgeous is Madison?!!

Thanks Brian Maheux for capturing this perfect Spruce Mountain Ranch day!

We love how bright and modern these floral hoops were. The perfect touch to their very green ceremony space - truly a trendsetting moment for the summer of 2015!

Oh hello GORGEOUS sisters!! Floral print dress and a flower crown, love love!

A floral comb is such a great way to accent your hair, especially if you prefer it to be down!

Madison + Steven were on our list of gorgeous weddings to blog about, and not too long ago, our paths have recently crossed!! So happy to see that their love has continued to blossom over the years. Glad you're enjoying married life together!!!

Adding a Juliet to a jewel tone wedding palette, can help break up and soften the colors. GORG!
